Prior to applying for funding, we recommend that you review the following general eligibility criteria:

IRS Tax-Exempt Status

Marriott Daughters Foundation supports nonprofit organizations with tax-exempt status under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, that are organized and operated for charitable purposes.

Geographic Location

Marriott Daughters Foundation partners with nonprofit organizations that serve the Greater Boston, Greater San Diego and Park City regions, as well as some international regions.

Areas We Do Not Support

• Individuals
• Government agencies
• For-profit businesses
• Special events or conferences

Legacy Grant

In order to encourage the philanthropic interests of individual board members, a small number of our partnerships fall outside of our focus areas or geographical regions.
